DetectMapper is designed to help users log, organise, and review metal detecting finds. This policy explains what information may be stored by the app and how it is used.

Information you add to the app

• Find details you enter, such as type, notes, target ID, depth, date, and related information.
• Photos you attach to finds.
• Location information connected to finds when you choose to save it.
• Weather details saved with a find where available.

How your information is used

• To let you save, edit, search, review, export, and restore your finds.
• To show your finds on a map and keep a history of your detecting sessions.
• To provide backup and restore features when available.
• To unlock optional Pro features if you purchase them.

Storage and backup

DetectMapper stores your find information so it can be viewed and managed inside the app. If backup features are enabled, your data may also be stored in your personal cloud storage so you can restore it later.

Sharing

DetectMapper is not designed to sell your personal data. Your find information stays under your control unless you choose to export, share, or back it up using features provided by the app or services connected to your device.

Third-party services

The app may rely on services provided by Apple, such as the App Store, in-app purchases, maps, and cloud services available on your device. Those services may process data according to their own privacy terms.

Your choices

• You can choose what find details, notes, and photos to add.
• You can delete finds from the app.
• You can choose whether to use available backup and restore features.
